What data I process
- Contact form: your name, email address and your message — to answer your enquiry.
- Questionnaire: To invite you, I store your name, your language and — if you give it to me — your email address. In the questionnaire (reachable only through your personal link or code) you tell me about yourself, your household and your dog. This information is used solely to prepare and carry out the consultation. All answers are voluntary.
- Server logs: When you visit the website, technical log data is generated (IP address, time, page requested, browser). It serves the secure operation of the site and is deleted after 52 days.
- Traffic statistics: I count visits to this website to know how much traffic it gets: which page was requested and when, which website or search engine the visit came from, and the type of browser. The count is made on the server that hosts this website, in a separate log without IP address, without cookies and without any identifier — visits can't be linked to each other or to you. I only record visitor numbers: individual visitors are neither analysed nor tracked, no profiles are created, and I use no third-party analytics services. Once a day the log is copied to the statistics database of Theme Park AG on another server in Strasbourg (France); it is shared with no one else.
Why — and on what basis
I process this data to answer your enquiry and to prepare and carry out the consultation, and for the secure operation of the website (legitimate interest). The traffic statistics show me how much the website is used (legitimate interest); the log contains neither IP address nor identifier. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies; where applicable, the European GDPR as well.
Where the data goes
- Your questionnaire answers are stored encrypted on the website's server (OVHcloud, EU) so that I can retrieve them for the consultation. In addition, I receive them by email with a PDF via Mailgun (EU region) in my mailbox at Zoho Mail (EU). Messages from the contact form reach me the same way.
- On request, I'll send you a copy of your answers by email.
- The website is hosted by OVHcloud in the EU (Warsaw, Poland). The server is operated by Theme Park AG, Zurich, on my behalf.
- The visitor log is copied to the statistics database of Theme Park AG on another OVH server in Strasbourg (France).
- No disclosure to third parties, no sale of data.
No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies. No third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no tracking of individual visitors.
While you fill in the questionnaire, it keeps your entries in your own browser (localStorage) so that nothing gets lost. This temporary copy doesn't leave your browser and is deleted when you submit.
The website's fonts are served from its own server — no third-party font services (e.g. Google Fonts) are loaded when you visit.
Retention
I keep enquiries for as long as they're needed for the consultation. I delete questionnaire answers as soon as they're no longer needed — at the latest, they're deleted automatically three years after receipt. Unused invitations are deleted 90 days after they expire. On request, I'll also delete the email copy in my mailbox. The visitor log is deleted after 52 days, its copy in the statistics database — still without any IP address — after 90 days; only daily totals (visits per day, page, source and browser type) are kept longer.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict the processing of your data — just get in touch through the contact form. The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
